People are saying they changed EWAR, and the rumor was that the closer you get to someone the easier it is to scan you.
So do I need more than the 2 complex damps to stay invisible now? Or what?
F*k this cash grab fix the shit that matters: unkillable uplinks, invisible remotes on null cannon hack panels, etc.

Not with advanced cloak though. Didn't used to be the case. Used to be 2 damps with the cloak bonus.

I disagree on the passive scanning utility. Having ran medium/heavy for the majority of my Dust merc's life, you can instantly feel the difference in power you get from better intel once you've got that proto scout suit on.
I chose the Gallente because not only are they the best dampeners, but they strike the best balance between all 3 EWAR stats.
Vulpes, are you saying 1 damp makes your Minja invisible to my Gal Scout with 2 precisions? From what I remember of this game's numbers, I doubt it.
Thanks the feedback people. I might even start running my combat rifle scout with EWAR instead of just damps and HP, just to see how much more powerful I feel than I did during my days of running Dragonfly Assault C-1 and Logi M-1 series with an insanely UP assault rifle.
It's all a matter of perspective.
