I do agree with the rest however (other than the DS HP nerf, they need to go up, not down, unless we find that it's a good idea to generalize each race to one slot layout). Especially the swarm one. Flatter trajectories and faster speeds maybe? Which particular set of vehicles are you worried about having too much tank? Or is it a generalization? generalization
Well thats not the intention, besides, Dropships lack the resources to run Heavy modules like HAVs can, so its really more balancing the light modules.

Or just nerf the base HP into the ground and give it better fitting so that people actually have to spend money on their LAV if they want to make it tanky.

If you want a murder taxi, a solid fire support platform, et al? It should be done via fitting, not via the hull having all the HP you could ever want.
3 slots just isn't enough to do anything meaningful in terms of fitting. Does anyone recall what it used to be? I want to say the old Saga was 3/2 and then the Logistics had 4/2?

Well that's kind of a tricky to say offhand because I think many of the Light modules are....not worth it, they offer too little of a benefit. So I'd be looking at decreasing base HP, increasing slots, and making the modules in those slots better. As for if the final result of that should push eHP up or down... I have not played around with LAVs enough against AV enough recently to really get a good feel for how quickly they pop, so I need to do that. I do know however that an *unfit* LAV should die in 1-2 STD packed AV grenades though, they need to be weak as hell.
