K guys, with the upcoming changes to HAV's coming, the other vehicles will have to be looked at as well. AV will be getting a buff as it should, and the ADS/DS and LAV will need to be buffed along side it. With that, here's what I think on the matter, having flown all form of Dropships for over a year and having PC experience with them. Everyone knows how LAV's work so no comment needed.
First of all, slots. Every standard vehicle should go by the same philosophy that the HAV's will be going by: Caldari 5/2 Amarr 2/5 Minmatar 4/3 Gallente 3/4
This goes for all standard DS and LAV's, while specialized variants, such as the ADS or LLAV, will get minus 1 slot on each side, Caldari for example would be 4/1.
Now, for stat changes.
ADS needs a minor HP and CPU/PG buff along with these changes, while LAV's need a major HP reduction (like the 1000 ehp range) but get massively increased CPU and PG. This will make the unfit BPO LAV's Cannon fodder, but well fit LAV's will be actually good for competent, dedicated LAV drivers. Standard DS should get a minor HP nerf, but increased PG and CPU for the extra slots.
LAV and DS also need to follow the changes for tiers, as in PG/CPU is I creased for each tier, but no increase in slots.
One last tid bit, swarms need a change. My only beef with them is that there is literally no way to dodge them. I've flown around entire buildings and had them follow me. Some way to dodge swarms needs to be implemented.
That's all guys, anybody who has feedback can comment and we can get the ball rolling for Rattati.

Keep in mind that everything above is my opinion and is not "right". There are many DS pilots who know more than I do, because I am far more tanker than pilot.

I do agree with the rest however (other than the DS HP nerf, they need to go up, not down, unless we find that it's a good idea to generalize each race to one slot layout). Especially the swarm one. Flatter trajectories and faster speeds maybe? Which particular set of vehicles are you worried about having too much tank? Or is it a generalization?

Dont sleep on the fitting possibillities of LAVs. I got the quafe methan and have two fits for it. 1 has a complex PG and CPU upgrade, has a proto small rail turret and an enh heavy shield extender, costs about 120,000 isk. The unfit one go pop regularly, and is best used when i know a blueberry is going to steal it as soon as i turn my back. The other never died. But since all people see is a quafe methana blueprint, everybody assumes that both are the same cheap fits. People need to take that into consideration before we start going off on LAVs. The PG/CPU would be what balances it, making fitting heavy modules extremely difficult, thus leading to balance. This would be the same for DS, lower PG/CPU vs. the tank. Fitting capacity should be Tank>DS>LAV

I personally think BPO LAVs should have all their slots removed (but keep the turret). Or just nerf the base HP into the ground and give it better fitting so that people actually have to spend money on their LAV if they want to make it tanky. this is pretty much my feeling on the matter. If you want a murder taxi, a solid fire support platform, et al? It should be done via fitting, not via the hull having all the HP you could ever want. 3 slots just isn't enough to do anything meaningful in terms of fitting. Does anyone recall what it used to be? I want to say the old Saga was 3/2 and then the Logistics had 4/2? I believe so. Do you have any thought on base hp numbers for the overhauled vehicles? Your pretty good at that sort of stuff.
