So I've been out of the PC thing for a LONG time now. Did one last night, and was incredibly disappointed. Lag was so terrible for me that I physically couldn't do anything for much of the map. Started out great then just went to total ****. Lost a few tanks to it and really failed my team. And that's not something I often do in PC or Pubs.
Is this a common experience among PC players still? I mean I'm used to lag but I've never seen lag this bad in a match. It was bad to the point that they were better off getting a new player in and booting me.
So tell me, how can I overcome this? Tips and tricks

Oo, I am maxed on friends from playing destiny. That could very well be severely bogging me down.

Yeah, I really need an SSD, or just a new HD in general would help. I've look at the statistical differences of an SSD to the HDD and the results are huge. Worth the investment when I decide to do this, for ALL games PS3.
