P.S. - the community has been asking for BPO's with New Eden faction colors for a while. CCP Shanghai's dev team isn't huge and this was something they were actually able to make for us. Don't **** on other people just because you didn't personally want something CCP implemented.

If "you want what we want" why are you not promoting Dust 514 via gameplay videos, tutorials, How To Fit X, and things like that? That brings in new players who are interested in seeing what Dust 514 is all about. More players are better for us and CCP. They are an online game's life blood.

Why do you insist on posting artificial controversy? Like this video, which most of it's "content" was made void by today's post from Rattati regarding new ways to earn keys and better strongbox loot. You could have been responsible and annotated the video so players who watch your videos would know the truth, but you did not.

Why?

Because it gets you views. That's your motivation. Not the betterment of the community. It's for the betterment of your Youtube channel.

I challenge you to post a series of videos about the fitting system, or a specific weapon that you really enjoy using and some gameplay footage with that weapon. Record a video of you pulling off a crazy long killing spree with that HMG. ****, I don't know, record you and a squadmate murdering redberry snipers with plasma cannons! Get creative. If you really do love this game like we do then accept this challenge.

I will Like, I will comment, I will subscribe. That is the kind of Youtuber we need right now. Not this.

CCP has 4-ish people working on Dust 514 last time I checked. Development resources are tight as hell.

Improving NPE is something Rattati is working on, but it's not something he can just wave a magic wand at and it be fixed.

In the mean time, BAMM and his Youtube channel could actually help our NPE. Let's pretend that BAMM didn't post drippy diarrhea like this latest video, but instead posted a tutorial on how to make cheap and effect fittings for each race. When a newberry had questions I would help them as well I could then say, "Look up BAMM HAVOC on youtube. He has a thing about Gallente assault* fitting doctrine. It's good. Watch it."

See?

BAMM gets views. I get an educated newberry. CCP gets a slightly smarter player who might stick around a while.

In regards to "linking pleasure with pain": BAMM could actually allude to the fact that you are going to die a lot in Dust. It's normal. A lot of new players don't realize that and get frustrated, but if a veteran like BAMM told them that it's normal then they might chill out.

If BAMM had some tinfoil hat videos intermingled with his, let's call them, NPE videos then you wouldn't hear as much of a fuss out of me.

Have you ever had a really, really good teacher that also happens to go on rants about the government and religion? I did. He was a biology teacher that was an old hippie. Tried to help the environment, but some government groups had him shut up (or so he says).

Sure, they are a really good teacher and you love them for it. When they go on a tirade you have more patience.

Every now and again you find yourself nodding and agreeing with their rants.
