This is why (in general) I loathe gamble items. Devs use them to incentivise people to buy/play when the loot you get out of the boxes is more often than not, junk. I see people rambling about how you can get the keys as salvage (with screenshots) but I played for several hours last night and didn't get a single one from salvage OR daily missions.
These boxes are detrimental to my experience, and I highly doubt that getting more keys is going to change that. I have played maybe twice since they were introduced and for less than 10 hours total and I have thousands of these boxes.
The moment I get a BPO that I want and will use I will edit this post to eat my words. I will take a crappy photo with my phone and show what I get. But I find it highly unlikely that will happen. Gamble boxes in any game that I've played over the last ten years has either not been opened because I don't like throwing away money to gamble, or opened for free and given me garbage consumables or misc. items I will never use, and so far... this game has done the same exact thing. A couple posts about people that got "winners" won't change the fact that there are dozens, if not hundreds of other people out there getting junk they don't want or like. I'm confused. How is removing Standard items from strongboxes diluting the pool? I think you misread the OP. Also, how is getting things 100% free, detrimental to your experience? Even if its just vendor (trade) trash most of the time

Also way more components to EOM.
The quality of gear in strongboxes and quantity should be more than noticeable. "Way more components to EOM"
Care to elaborate?
Ohhh, you probably mean warbarge components. Here I am thinking more stats, which would be wonderful. Some day lol
