The best update yet, because it brought new play styles. These monetization updates are meh, they're getting old real quick. Play with the warbage for a week , already bored. I'd much rather see new heavy weapons and pilot suits.
Proud owner of 4 proto commandos and 3 proto sentinels. All except amarr sent, its a beginner heavy tbh.:p

Jeebus, I died a lot as a solo noob. I can't believe I stuck with it.
I remember when I died, I almost never saw where it was coming from.
I remember watching a youtube video and seeing all the wall hacks and thinking "Well, hell, that would make things easier, now wouldn't it?"
Still often run a Gal scout.

I still say the best patch was anything pre 1.0..

Yeah, anyone remember cal scout , acrs, and cloaks? I'll never use this combination, because its so damn scrubby.

I came a little before 1.7, but I've seen vids of the awsome tank battles.
