Why does this sh*t always freeze when I'm doing good in a match!! WTFF!!!!!!

Because, like it or not, you're not actually good. Everytime you crash, it's the system trying to bring you back into reality that is you not doing well at all. I know it must hurt, but bear with it. |

How many chat channels do you have opened?
My PS3 never freeze, but when I tested the effects of too many opened channels, my system hard froze every 3-4 games. |

Still freezing? Rebuild your PS3 database. Still freezing? Make sure your PS3 is properly ventilated; not sitting on carpet, preferably raised slightly off the surface it is on (I use a few metal washers stacked two high on each corner), etc.

Try cleaning out your ps3 once a month and defragging it after a few downloads or once every month or so. Your ps3 should also be very quiet.
Dust already pushed the pos3 which generates heat, heat slows down the cpu, cpu gets too hot from dust buildup and shuts down. Well it seems for the ps3 it likes to freeze up lol.
