lol lai dai is good but not in pc. six kin triage works well but core focused is the best one for pc.

Fundamentally depends on how many heavies/squadmates you are expected to be directly responsible for. If you're to be primarily paired with 1-3 then that Core Focused is the way to go, the reps/rate outweigh the clunk of locking the beam. If you're to be the sole repper for 2 or 3-16 then you'll absolutely want the ability to dual beam, where that Republic Boundless Atiim suggested ^ comes into play, followed by the 6kin, Republic benefits being a better rep/rate and range than the Core or the 6kin. That range being very very helpful, IMO, for juggling reps between multiple troopers in multiple positions.

But I personally am a believer that the Injector is a better use of your equipment slot. But it's all situational like anything else. Can't even really say there's a best rep tool because of how differently they handle - the one that aims at two is best for running around the city with - but if you're on point, stick with focus.

Depends on what your trying to do and in what suit. Logistically the six kin is the best all around if your not counting the factional Republic Boundless. I prefer to use Lai Dai as of late in PC or Public matches just based on the play style. If the slayers your repairing are skilled enough, the Lai Dai is perfect with a Min Logi. Using this combination allows you to even reach those 26+ meters away, which include fast scouts and assaults on the fly, while still giving stellar repairs to a skilled heavy. I would only suggest using the core focus for heavily contested engagements involving extreme CQC. Anything outside of that places you in harms way. Remember, your life is the most important as logistics. Saving and sustaining lives should take priority over slaying. It'll keep you in the fight longer. A dead logi is a useless Logi.

I personally use the 6kin on my Amarr Logi. Core Focused just doesn't appeal to me because of the Oh-so-beautiful Core nades and Shotguns. At least if I'm 15 meters away, I have a slight amount of time to warn my heavy when I go down to turn around.

I'm liking some of these answers, really contrast against the public opinion that reps is just leash a heavy and soak in the WarPoints. There's a certain craft and at some levels an Art to effective, worthwhile repping and it's nice to see answers that reflect it.

I'll say this: Short range rep tools leave room for multikills. Logi/Heavy on a short leash makes them easier to deal with, both offensively and defensively (At least when not working in a 2 heavy pair)
It's hard to RE (Or sneak attack shotgun) a heavy and his repper when one is 15m away. Longer range gives the heavy more freedom to maneuver and engage, and keeps the logi safer as well.
Not only that, but as silly said, he can snipe reps on people. You can stand under overwatch on 3 point city and rep someone in the acid pits if you have to (Barring obstructions). They won't be lifesaving reps, but they will definitely help.
