This is concerning the ADS
* Let's examine and completely redefine the ADS. First off let's change the name so you all know here I'm headed with this from ADS to simply AGS or Assault Gun Ship.
* Note, that this AGS can still use the current model we have. Just change the specifications for it really.
- First we want to remove all the passenger seats in the AGS. By doing this we completely separate the standard DS to a complete assault gunship. The purpose of the gunner seating in the DS was intended to protect the troops as they got off. I see no point as to why the ADS has it not the extra seating.
- I'd like the majority of the Pilots out there to decide whether or not to remove the gunner seating after this.
-By doing all that I'd like like to propose a minor speed increase to the Ship, due to the lesser amount of weight it will be carrying e.g. passengers and seats.
- Give it more resistance to minor crashes or ticks against the buildings and ground please ! This one is even needed now.
- Give main turret the ability to turn up/down & left/right to help the ability of strafe runs
*But wait ! Won't this be OP?*
Not at all ! This will most likely increase the majority of people to try and skill into it ! The swarms and forges will still be the same.
*What about those 2 gunner seats?* It's up for voting ! I don't mind having one main gunner seat being the pilot. The ADS is perfectly capable of taking out many things with one turret.

Odd. If you don't mind me saying I always figured the ADS was lacking fire power which is why it was never really a gunship. I always imagined 2 or more turrets being the defining feature of a Gunship in Dust.

If you could make it have a turret on each side controlled by the pilot, and a nose turret that you could switch to like weapon swapping, that would be pretty cool.

Why is it under the DS (a craft MADE to transport) at that point. No.
This is definitely not a solid way to go through with this, seeing as you're removing a valid role (troop transport with limited Arial support) for a role that the current ADS has, but in a broken form, see as farming infantry and killing vehicles, particularly HAV's is easy. If you want a pure Gunship, ask for that, not remove roles.
Also, it might sill have the same problems the ADS has currently vs. most HAV's.

This is honestly not a horribad idea.
I would, however, save the speed increase for when swarms can be mechanically reworked.
That speed should be paid for with fragility.
