Along side with Skirmish 1.0?
If they still do, I believe they should launch an event regarding that. So players that never got to play Skirmish 1.0 and Crater Lake map would get a chance to play.
CCP could also use this even to gather information from this event on map making and skirmish 1.0 feedback. Since we have a bigger player now compared to those days. This would be a good thing.
It would give old vets, like me, a good nostalgia trip while giving the players that have never experienced this map with that game mode a fresher "feel" of the game.
This is, of course, if it can be done.

Really the bowl map, I miss it so much.. The only real problem I had with the old Manus Peak was that on the Defender's side. on K-8, k-9, there was a mountain there that every single redberry sniped from and sicne it as inside the redline it was almost impossible trying to go kill those snipers (you couldn't counter snipe a lot back then because of head glitching)
The other mountain, was actually really cool having it there. All CCP needed to do was to also add another route to Manus Peak from the Attacker's side rather than having it only on the defenders side. That way some good confrontations could have happened up here.
I do remember that whenever I was on the Attacker side and wanted to go up the mountain I wouls either use a DS or go to the enemy's redline and try to climb it as fast before the timer went down. Tho I always got sniped or killed by a turret

They could easily copy and paste the code. The problem, I'm going to speculate, is that the map is variables made using variables inherent to that build. Which would mean that they would painstakingly have to go through and revise the old code, which would be like building an entire new map from scratch. So it might be as easy as some might think.
It was just a random idea I had. Giving new players the feel of the old Dust. Before the dark times. Before skirmish 2.0. While giving people like a good old nostalgia trip.
Hell, maybe they will bring it back someday. There is a "New Game mode" on Trello for 1.1 so I am a little hopeful. Tho I am 80% sure that the new game mode would bethe roaming Dom mode Rattati metioned a while back.
