'OPEN YOUR EYES!!!'
Hya'salia awoke screaming, sitting upright on a white cot. her breathing was labored, and her whole body was shaking, most likely from the aftereffects of pure adrenaline pumped into her system for almost several hours straight. normally this , as well as pain receptors were numbed in combat clones, making recovery faster, battle ready. but in leisure clones, it takes a tremendous amount of effort and time to recover from such outbursts.
'..wh-where...am i?' she asked herself, looking around her cot, absorbing her surroundings. the architecture was definately minmatar by design. a series of beds and monitoring equipment line two opposite sides of the room she was in, her bed was closest to a giant pane of glass, on the opposite side, a group of people were standing over a large table. the steady beeping of the monitors and the whirring of various tools and instruments brought what little noise into the empty, and disturbingly silent room she was in.
suddenly she remembered.
"The se'terra's medical ward" she said aloud. one figure who was standing among the group of doctors was dressed vastly different from the others. the man wore a formal amarrian tunic, equipped with a red sash over his waist and abdomen. his features, sharp by military habit had a look of worry and sadness as he walked over to Hya'salia.
without saying a word, the man pulled up a chair and sat next to hya'salia and for a minute or so the two did not speak to one another, only the ambient sounds from afar seemed to fill the room.
"w-where are we?" Hya'salia asked, breaking the silence between the two of them. Issac simply looked on towards her, displaying a look of worry she had not seem in a long time. then he took a deep breath and pulled out a small holo-pad. pressing on, it showed a complete map of new eden. he pointed to a group of stars north of the map and zoomed in.
"Vale of the silent" Issac replied.
"how long have... i been out?"
"2 days now, if we were to count the time spent riping the myron apar-"
"Wait." Hya'salia quipped, off guard by the previous answer issac said. 'Two days??' she thought, as her mind rushed to fill her in on the events prior to the crash.
the pub, Buelle, the soldier who looked at her before he charged into his inevitable death.
the sadness that overwhelmed her as she tried to escape.......
from them.
then hya'salia began to move, trying to get herself off of the bed, but she was met with a hand to her face. Issac placed his other hand against hya'salia's chest and forced her back to her bed.
"dont, Hya'salia" Issac said. but she simply scowled at him. she knocked off his hand and tried again.
"what do you mean 'Dont', issac i need to g-" Hya'salia was cut off when all of a sudden her legs gave way as soon as she put her weight on top of them. Issac reacted to this, straining to keep her from meeting with the cold metal floors, and after some effort placing her back on the bed.
but she was wide-eyed, her mouth opening and closing with a slight opening. as Issac gently lifted her legs back into the covers, she tried to move her foot, then her toes, then her legs as a whole. she tried to thrash them about, put them in motion and make them move....
but she couldn't.
Without saying a word, Issac hugged hya'salia as she slowly broke down in tears. the sudden realization coming to her head as Issac turned his head and asked for a nurse to bring her a wheelchair. then, he laid hya'salia down on the bed and stroked her forehead once.
it was all he could do.
as he placed the covers over her lower body, hya'salia began to drift in and out of consciousness again, her body wrought with fatigue, began to weight heavy against her, eventually she began to sleep, tears still coming out of her eyes.

Clockwork Jester wrote:
Over the last few days the only two places he had been were his quarters and the med ward. He had been spending most of his time fighting with his nightmares, and when he grew tired of struggling with his demons he would check up on Hy'salia. She was still sleeping but Noah had heard whispers throughout the ship about her condition. For some reason he felt responsible.
They said she had finally woken up, but when he arrived she was still sleeping. Quietly he sat down in the chair next to her bed. He leaned forward, elbows on thighs and hands clasped together. He stared intently at the floor, almost as if he stared hard enough he could wake up from this nightmare too.
it was a dreamless sleep.
just memories. memories of cal-prime, memories of her crew, her immortality, her stuggles. everything, poured into her mind in one ferocious swoop, overwhelming her.
scaring her.
slowly she opened her eyes again, and the roof of the med-bay's wards greeted her. the ticking of the clock next to her, the sliding sounds of doors opening for whoever was here, the smell of disinfectant, alcohol, and blood filled her nostrils. but slowly she took in the information she had now.
1. due to the myron's crash landing, she is now paralyzed from the waist down.
1a. until she could access a more advanced medical facility designed for people with paralysis, she'll need to stay out of the next contact with the shadow warriors
2. crownrule and Thal are in the med-bay, hawk is also likely, due to the drift manuver she attempted to pull back in edbringer.
the little fact already set her tothe point of crying again, but she needed to be strong, for her sake and for her crew. it was then that she noticed someone sitting right next to her.
the man looked like a shadow of his former self, no longer a soldier, he reminded her of drug addicts, or soldiers afftected with PTSD, or some other sort of psychological trauma. regardless, despite the changes, she still knew his name.

GÇ£Ah, dhedus arvumaa (little sparrow) you are awake.GÇ¥ The words he spoke were a mix of intaki and napanii, gentle but happy. Noah spoke without looking up from the floor. As he lifted his head up to look at HyaGÇÖsalia his eyes were blank and unfocused, lacking recognition, a gentle smile on his face. A moment later a wave of recognition moved across his face. His eyes sharpened and the smile on his face quickly fell. GÇ£Heard a rumor you had woken up. Figured I would see for myself.GÇ¥ He did not bother to mention that he had been checking up on her for the last few days, or that he felt responsible for her injuries. Jester was slowly unraveling, turning into an emotional wreck. He kept telling himself it was because of the guilt he felt, but he knew that was not the case. GÇ£From what I hear you put on quite the air show in that dropship.GÇ¥ His ever present grin returned to his face. He never saw what she had done, he was too busy running for his life hopping that those in the dropship provided a distraction long enough for him to get aboard the ship. Not that anyone else needed to know that. Hya'salia chuckled, though one would notice her wince after a few seconds of laughing, and then she coughed a bit, out of breath, and gritted her teeth to get through the pain.
"yeah... that was *cough, cough* a good show huh? well, better paralyzed than dead i guess, at least i managed to save a few our of our bretheren." Hya'salia said as she adjusted herself until she was sitting upright. around her, she would see crownrule and viktor conversing with one another, Thal was watching hya'salia and Noah from a distance.
And she could see Issac as well, giving her one good nod, then reaching up and tapping a Doctor on the shoulder and pointed in her direction. with a look of suprise and relief, the Doctor walked up to her bed, and bowed.
"D'weu, little Hya'salia." the Thukker Doctor said. inside, the doctor was estatic. his captain lives again, and for a man who had once roamed the slums in an effort to find job, money and food, to realize that the one who gave him a second chance is still in this world renewed his sense of duty to the Daughter of his old colleague . in Hya'salia's mind, her cloudy future was cleared. at least for a while. inside, she knew that the survivors inside her ship will have to go against these shadows once more, but at least it wont be alone, in the cold dark container in edbringer. it will be in her ship, under her terms.
"D'weu Lib'wynge, tell me; has Issac stopped trying to expand the amarrian temple down by the main quarters? or has he tried to go out with Ms Diane from comms?"
"hahaha, well he has been busy moving us across the clusters and back again, i'd imagine that he is trying to head into the Delve reigon. oh, and before i forget..." the doctor pulled out a metallic light blue wristcomp, handing it to Hya'salia. the wristcomp was heavily dented, scratched and one of the holodisplays were either broken or miscalibrated, but she marveled that her wristcomp had survived the crash landing, and slowly she placed it in her left arm, with a soft hiss, the wristcomp activated, connecting her to the rest of the se'terra.
"Well, i guess its time to get to work" Hya'salia began as she tried to hoist herself off the bed, she motioned for someone to help her as she made her way towards a nearby wheelchair, preferring to keep wearing the medical garb for now. |

Thal Vadam wrote:Thal followed behind Junko closely. One hand on the back of her wheelchair, the other on the hilt of his blade. He smiled down at her as the elevator door closes. His smile faded to a sad frown.
"Cale's gone..."
Hya'salia didnt reply back as soon as she would have hoped.
even the vitality of a clone soldier's mind, even the postivity she attained in her life wasnt enough to quell her sadness. inside she was as broken as Jester, as broken as the mad woman who had killed her only husband.
but even then her mind still had ounces of fight left in her. even if her body wasn't up to the task.
"... ask the crew to preserve his body. when this is over, we'll send him towards the grand Caravan" Hya'salia spoke to thal softly, grabbing his hand for a split second, and then continued on towards the armory.
THE ARMORY
the hustle and bustle of her crew gave a calming effect as she made her way towards the opening in the center of the armory, north of her was a row of Caldari and Gallente- Class Tanks. to the south was a 5 ship fleet of Dropships, Caldari and Minmatar Class Dropships. the Minmatar- class dropships, the "Okami" class, was a newer sort of dropship. its minimalist design and seemingly skeletal apperance lended to it a sort of flexible allusion that when flown, is granted an unprecedented agility over the other races.
as she approached the Briefing table, one of her crew, a Loadmaster named Ma'lkai, looked to her and silently gave her an earpiece. it automatically synched with her wrist-comp and she opened a channel to the others
Hya'salia wrote: Refugees of the Se'terra, this is Captain Hya'salia. briefing will commence in 5, if you cant make it, then make your way towards the communications section of the Portside cargohold. those who can, i hope your not afraid of a little claustrophobia |

Jonny D Buelle wrote:Marcy giggled and walked slowly up to Calt. 'I heard a rumour that you hate your father,' she said, wrapping her arms around his neck.
'I have a proposition for you, my dear. My father, is rumoured to be alive.' She started to caress his cheek and whispered into his ear, 'Kill my father and yours will suffer the same fate, no one will ever know.'
"except me" a Voice called out,
the same instant the voice echoed throughout the halls, the living quarters shut all the doors close to marcy, blocking her from her methods of escape. the lights dimmed and slowly, Hya'salia slowly made her way into view, her eyes a mixture of sadness and one of conviction. had it been any other situation, it would have been a different resolution to the problem.
a simple Sigis Slug straight to marcy's Brain.
but her options are limited, and she resorted to the one, most people would never take in this day and age.
"well.... this is quite an awkward place to talk things through" Hya'salia noted, briefly ignoring the sudden metallic pings of bullets hitting the door. |

"No..." Hya'salia said, looking at Marcy's eyes; full of pain, Hate and suffering. she moved her wheelchair even closer to Marcy.
"Here's what is going to go down Marcy; Kill me, and where will you go?" She asked Calmly. She knew the stakes in this talk were high enough as it is. but overhearing her making such a disastrous proposal was enough to snap her out of it.
" this module... its been rigged to jettison the moment my heart stops. so not only will you be trapped, my body will haunt you until the last of you sanity rots away." she continued, Making sure marcy saw the blue hues of her Wristcomp, the words "JETTISON UPON DEATH CONFIRMED" as clearly as possible.

But that's only because you have more brains than the rest of these f*cking sh*theads." She then holstered her pistol. Hya'salia continued to force herself to stare at Marcy, the sickening feeling in her stomach eased as the Scrambler pistol Marcy aimed at her face was finally holstered.
"So, here is my offer, Marcy..." Hya'salia continued, her mind going back to the news of Cales death. inside her mind was already coming up with a plan.
" Help me get the Se'terra free from whatever is Chasing us, in return..." she motioned for her to lend and ear. she made sure to put an air of absolute sincerity as the words escaped her Lips.
"my people will bring back Cale. I know I know, a preposterous proposition no? well.... his brain is intact, most likely up in the medical ward, overlooked by one of the Thukker Doctors who saved me. though i am a cripple until we escape. BUT, only if we escape, and only if you curb your inhibitions about bloody murder, to those who have been helping us. if you so much as shoot a death glare at anyone..... im pretty sure you can understand whatI'm implying." Hya'salia finished, as she was opening a comms channel to Issac and the other refugeed immortals. there she typed a message to the others.
Hya'salia wrote:"continue making our way towards the armory for briefing. and do hurry your asses up"
when she was done, she once again, looked at her in the eye. " So whats it going to be?"
