I encourage people to buy Aurum! If you are on this forum, you like DUST 514 thus should contribute to the game. Free to play isn't free to make. CCP didn't design this game to be nice and give people something to do. They deserve some donations. Don't just take and take and take without giving back. Contribute. If you play for free you have no room to complain about the game. Contribute and then you can complain. Beggars can't be choosers!
What do Girls Scout do for you? Nothing! But you buy their cookies anyway, which are un-healthy by the way. CCP listens to the request on these forums and does things for you, so buy their cookies (Aurum). The Aurum is heathy for your character too.
I'll being investing another $100 tonight!

Recently purchased two veteran packs while they were on sale, saving the rest of my money until CCP shows me something pretty that I can get without having to gamble.

CCP deserves no more money for Dust. All the cash they have gotten for it has clearly been wasted.
I will gladly give CCP my money for EvE, because it is going places. Dust isn't.

I have helped support this game financially virtually from day one, and I strongly encourage others that enjoy playing to do the same.
That said, we need more players, even ones who don't spend a dime -- to make this game more enjoyable and successful.
So, even if you don't have any money to help CCP directly, we can all take a new player under our wing, show them the ropes, and make our community larger. |
