It has a light damage modifier now. I understand that these suits aren't supposed to be optimal, but why give it something that does nothing at all?

Because typically filing a bug report is far more effective than making a forum post about it. I just happened to notice this thread and forwarded it to Cross.

The best way to report a bug is with the main site contact feature. The bug report forums are best used as a method to create a more detailed report that can be linked within a submitted ticket.
I spend time - possibly more than is healthy  - on the forums but the sheer volume of text here means I am not reading even 40% of what goes up so it is honestly hit and miss what I see. The area I spend the most time in is Feedback and the threads I focus most on are those in which the OP A) Provides details & B) is not raging. Because those are the posts I can most effectively translate into something meaningful that could be acted upon. The OP in this thread is a good example of that, it provides feedback on a problem in a clear manner without QQ (thanks for that  ).
If there is a bug that is recurring and you have not heard back on it, or for that matter other feedback, feel free to e-mail me directly as well cross atu 69 [at] gmail (no spaces of course).
I cannot always respond to every e-mail sent but I do read them and I make sure feedback/bugs are passed along to CCP (easiest way for me to do that is if there is a forum post and the e-mail contains a link).
