DUST Search - Nova Knife question

I am thinking of doing this

Getting a proto scanner and maxing my Bolt proficiency. Scrambler pistol is my weapon of choice but against a good strafer its useless as you need more shots before of he deficiency against armor.

PLC takes some getting used to but is good once you can.

Flaylocks are an awesome companion to the NKs, especially against flipping shotgunners. They don't need quite the accuracy as you can get them with the splash damage.

So NKs for the high HP suits, Flaylocks for the ones you cant get with NKs.

There's nothing quite like the Nova Knives in the game at the moment, though there are a few things that can compete with the advanced damage levels. Melee is probably the most similar, but the hit detection is shoddy and it requires you to give up all your shielding potential. I want to punch.

Right on the money but I am looking to try another weapon bolt, NK and flaylock seem to be doing the job pretty well but I will get bored very soon.
