It is bloody good, my main had the sp depletion glitch.
Screw playing for a couple thousand sp so I played on a alt I haven't played on in a bit.
I've got a good amount of points into the (Plasma) Assault Rifles over on it so I tossed
Advanced Burst AR
One of the matches using it.
So question is why have I not been killed by it a lot more.
Its a bloody good gun.
It has been some time when I've actually thought this many different guns were really good. So high5 for that you bluetags. XD
TLDR : I lied, I have at least 3 more.

All variations of the AR are great imo, especially the TAC, I think that the burst combat rifle is just overall better than the burst AR if you really wanted to use a burst. That and a lot if people are too "scared" to use the AR I think because it's dubbed a bad weapon. I'm not saying it isn't outclassed but all versions of the AR (especially the TAC) tear ass.

Burst AR is good, it just gets annoying to me after awhile to watch bullets seemingly pass right by your target. I don't know why that bugs me, just does lol. Good weopon and great video Jolly :)

I could never get the timing right to rapid fire the AR burst like I can with the CR.
It's been a while since I've tried the ar burst. Guess I need to dust it off.
The only real truth in history is that it was bloody.

It wasn't this good until recently. The stats on it were adjusted to mimic the combat rifle somewhat. Use the aurum gk-13 if you want to try out the old version as it was not updated. |

The AR and Burst AR are utterly terrible unless your connection is at least ok and your frame rate stays level.

I use to run it on my GalScout but felt the zoom of the scope didn't match up to the optimal range of the weapon... if that means anything really.
Hmm, if I had to reword it, I would say that the scope isn't necessary. My experience with the weapon with Prof. 5 proved more useful in close quarters than it did at medium range. Even then, the weapon performs extremely well just by hip-firing it. Attempting to use it at CR range didn't play out too well when ADS. So, I just switched to the BrAR as it could perform just as well, if not better, in all the ranges the BAR was meant to be decent at.
