Back when I had a mother I kept a journal. Her idea. She would cry at the horrors done to my clone bodies. I got annihilated by a forge gun, I respawned screaming. I was going to quit smoking but I get new lungs alot. Mom.
Yesterday I graduated the academy with top honors. Today I'm chop liver. These Mercs are serious. I am looking into a corp, strength in numbers. I fell in with some Horizon guys and they offered me a job. We'll see.
I am learning that there is way more to battle than killing. A squad can get cut off and slaughtered pretty easily if you don't have the proper tac. I'm having trouble targeting so I'm stuck lugging all the gear. I hope this gets easier. |

Can one clone make a difference? I can try. The squads were thin today. I am going to have to adjust my skill set to function alone. I might try grabbing my own bars.
I have been destroying vehicles when I can't find fellow Mercs to run with. My comms are mostly dead today. I've been broadcasting for reinforcements to no avail. I'm sleep deprived but I have a drive to succeed. At least I'm making money.
Still looking for that academy instructor. I never knew I craved structure. Someone like that could temper a little guy like me into a precision killing machine. Day dreams I guess. I'm still carry in the gear. |

I lost a whole day! These neural implants might mess with memory. I'm glad I'm keeping a journal. I wonder how fierce the competition is today. |

I didn't get a chance to type this yesterday but I won a lottery. It came at the best time. All of the missions that were posted were for rich mercs.
I falsified some documents to visit the academy again. It seems my time in the meat grinder has payed off. I easily out performed the best class mates. It was clear that I had no need to be there. |
