The breach is the **** but i agree the vanilla scrambler pistol is underwhelming. The std breach is better than the wolfmans which in a way is sad.
Its that damage profile imo. You need to be doing seriius damage to overcome that -20

To be honest the bolt pistol is easier to use than the breach scrambler pistol
Though I do agree with Big Miku that the scrambler pistol variants besides the breach are a joke.
Maybe the answer to all of this is CCP to nerf the breach scrambler pistol to make it on pa with the rest of the scrambler pistols, resulting in a redundant weapon skill point sink.

A probable damage buff. The Ion Pistol is out and the Scrambler Pistol should not be able to have high ROF. Asking for its high ROF back, then the Ion Pistol would need to have a higher ROF in order to keep its role.

Amen to that. Its gotten too easy it aint fun anymore. Heavies even use it. Thats how good it is.
I personally feel that the clip size of all weapons should be reduced but I am crazy

The breach right now is good for heavys due to being able to aim carefully (Dust has very clunky aim) and shoot at the head without falter, and it's really good for anti-scout. Try the rest of the pistols...they really suck. It has slow RoF and low damage. How is that balanced? Even the range is meh.

The breach is the only decent variant.
The others are okay ish but compared to the breach they fall off to the wayside fairly quickly. With the heavy hittimg bolt Nd the spamable ion being used alot more than the scp. Smg is still awesome as always
