I think that a little component payout should be granted to each player for every won battle, like 10 or 15 component for winning a skirmish/domination, 5 for an ambush. It would help.
Some have luck, some have money, trading is not a crime.

How about we have component salvage rights for the winning team only?mkeep isk and standard salvage payouts the same, but the team that claims the battlefield can strip it of components, and thus increase their powerbase in a meaningful, tangible manner.

My whole point is that I want to feel like my performance in-game should have an effect on my warbarge. Entirely passive systems are boring because they basically play themselves. Offering up some sort of reward or ability to speed up Warbarge upgrades/component production would really help in making players feel engaged and actually part of their Warbarge

Yes exactly. I was thing that we could install this like command and control modules that reduce the cost vehicle call ins and speed up Bolas, DED communication arrays that allow us to choose a number of daily missions equal to it's level so that we can shape the rewards we fight for, that kind of thing.

Being able to earn components from battle would be great, as well as making life a little easier.

You can currently earn them as EOB salvage, but the drops rate is tiny and the amounts are negligible. So, that needs to change.

Id say the quantities are okay for now, but the actual drop rate makes strongbox bpos look common. : /

To upgrade your factory, arguably the most important out of all your subsystems, from level two to level three, costs in excess of ten thousand components, not counting the components required to. Upgrade the warbarge itself to allow you to do that in the first place. It's a huge grind for those who don't have Aurum to spare.

It was clear [based on forum] from the start that Aurlord patch requires from player to spend big amount of aur if anyone want to upgrade anything.
