Well, OkayGǪ here's the effective bad news (and I'm not trying to troll and burst your hopes,GǪ): Regardless of the path and enthusiastic signs Dust has been showing us in 2015, it was admitted about a year ago that we should not look forward to "NEW" vehicles of any kind being introduced into the game---the 'designing' or conceptual part of their staff/resources just doesn't exist anymore for Dust. I'm not being a naysayer or doom-cryer, CCP did let us know this quite honestly.
But, here's the other news, and it's also very true and very good : There have been four specific racial Dropships already designed for the game LONG AGO. Just like the LAVs, (and some multi-command vehicles hardly ever discussed anymore), the Dropships themselves are fully designed and formed---just not released into the gameplay like the Gallente and Caldari ones.
I have seen the convention-mugshots of them online (though it sometimes takes DAYS of searching to locate them nowadays).
They are splendid to look at! The orientation and mindset of the Min and Amar versions are WAY different from the mindset that the Gal/Cald use regarding stacking the passengers----I could swear the Min version looks like the riders are forced to stand up like coats in a closet, with no protection!
But it is not easy to tell where the turrets (and what type of turret) go on these unique-shaped dropships. Classic-sensibility would say they would have to be placed balanced-on-each-side, but if you see the pictures of these dropships, you'd have to decide where the turret has been designed to be.
The important thing is, they have ALREADY BEEN designed.
It's just a matter of feeling ready to script their performance profiles, and insert them into the game.
Cross your fingers that one day it will happen. Because these Dropships look so racially-sexy and different from what we're used to using now.

HaGǪ Breakin, you might be right. Legion may be the receiver of these designs. By the way, thanks to another cool poster in this forum, I found one (yuck, only one) of those famous images.
