This is a forum thread making a public thank you on behalf of the Planetary Services Department - more specifically the AIV (division) - for CCP Rattati taking the time to sit down and hash out the list of confirmed bugs that we had consolidated over the past week, as well as the community in general for pointing our test team in the right direction for bugs, issues, glitches, etc.
20-25 confirmed bugs and issues have since been re-categorized on our Trello board and we've added new categories to increase efficiency and optimization.
Despite our volunteer team only having been officially established a week ago we've made great strides both in how we operate and how bugs are tracked. The community no longer has to fear that a reported bug will get lost in the forums, as we permanently track them until they are Solved or deemed to have no viable resolution. More importantly, they are consolidated and categorized in an efficient manner for all parties to view, (potentially) resulting in less duplicate threads and less searching on behalf of those who do report them. We've also reformatted our labels to be easier to understand both for our team and viewers.
The war against the bugs isn't over, however, as we've still a lot of work ahead of us with a list of unconfirmed bugs that need to be hunted down. A new feature we've also recently added is the ability for players to publicly comment on the cards, allowing the community to personally point us in the right direction if they feel we've missed something.
Once more, I'd like to personally thank both CCP Rattati for taking time out of his busy schedule to help us out and thank the community for being our compass.
Thank you!
(Side Note: If you're interested in bug hunting but not particularly bug hunting in a video game, Starship Troopers is now available on Netflix )

Really.....this post is like saying thank you to someone who stole your wallet and wasted your time trying to find it,...just becuase they returned it to you and then shrugged their shoulders when you ask them if they happened to know where the money in your wallet went. Sometimes I wonder, no I take it back, sometimes I wish CCP would make a public statement regarding one of the devs being slow, because then it would all make sense, and I couldnt get mad, but until that statement comes...no mercy.
I'm a try-hard, because half my team sits in the MCC.

We all still look at CCP with nostalgia... We remember the story where a couple passionate icelandic game developers built a board game to help fund the development of a space game they have all been dreaming of making.
And the struggles of their one room office and launching EVE as a family of game developers all passionate about taking space sim gaming to the next level.
Then remembering the 2009-2010 CCP Fanfests and the sheer passion in showing us how they will take MMORPG FPS gaming to the next level.
Somewhere along the lines in a trip and stumble CCP made in 2008.... The Core employee's that built EVE's great mechanics and concepts... Quit. The Company later got sold off to the biggest private investor in Iceland and another private holdings group...
From 2008-2015 EVE has done what? Brought in new ship skins and fancy new graphics in a space game? All the epic mechanics and things talked about EVE was created before the 2008 crash of EVE's innovation and passion.
There are two original CCP employees left. both of them own a small percentage of CCP... One just left CCP Games... Leaving only Helmar that owns just 5% of CCP left as a figure head to fool us all.
Meanwhile pretty much all the bst talent working at CCP games have left... Even their renown Economist who setup and ran EVE's economy for 10 years... http://www.themittani.com/news/new-edens-economist-leaves-ccp
CCP Veritas... Who arguably was the most talented employee left at CCP http://www.themittani.com/news/ccp-veritas-leave-riot-games
Just after CCP Soundwave left..CCP Dolan... There are 20-30 of the most talented employees left at CCP that has left within 2014... Leaving the same broken terrible upper management.
CCP as a passionate innovative game developer? IS dead and gone years ago... We as players are just to nostalgic to realize this is the new CCP. Welcome to AUrlord.

I made a translation of the dev post for warlords on features thread. Can you get it stickied? We had talked about the dustwiki, but that might not work as well. |
