Should not be restocked by a hive, period. They are equipment as should be treated as such. There is no logical reason why they should be restocked.
They are being spammed like crazy by people with no balls.
Only people that will object about this probably spam them themselves.

Only people that will object about this probably spam them themselves. Yokal, WTF bro? Your in some ****** "new" corp putting down my RE's and saying that they should not be restocked...WTF? Yes they are equipment, but they are the only equipment able to handle YOUR heavy spam and for point defense. Any smart merc worth his salt is able to spot these RE's and destroy them leaving you possibly vulnerable to about 4 reds. The ability to restock them is a necessity. Just because some spam doesn't mean everyone does. If I complained every time I was killed by core locus or some other spamable POS I'd be a fvcking billionaire. ...also, miss you in corp bro.
I mainly run assault on this char and do not spam a thing, but no equipment should be an answer for any suit. There is various ways of dealing with a heavy, for a scout that is a shotgun, 3 or 4 shots plus hit detection failures mean you can dance round a heavy or long range if that is your style. Erm spam generally means lots of something, since I can only be in one suit at one time I cannot spam (assume your talking about my alt who runs the warlord sent). Spam is also a type of food.
And yes you can spot them, but when people throw over 9000 off buildings and run round drop drop boom, withough even firing their weapon, that is not cool and not the purpose of RE's. Even less so is the ability to throw them at people, from one side of the room to the other.
Also I know some people don't spam stuff, I never abused the Cal logi or the contact nade, and there not worth a dime anymore. And the reason for that is because they were abused. They have only just made the Duvolle Tac a practical weapon again too.
Reason I made this post, I'm sick of it being abused. Watched a guy go 40 odd to zero just standing on a roof in a logi suit throwing remotes.
Oh and don't you like the corp name? I think it has a nice ring to it. And I play my alt everyday, just seem to miss you :(

Really? Have you tried using one? I run solo so don't see that many logistics (and if they do they are leeched onto their squad mates oblivious to anyone else). There are a handful of maps in which the heavy is dominant on. Same with assaults and scouts. Knowing what map is best to which class will help your team and set your play style for that match accordingly.
Your statement rejected.

Long live Dust 514 I'm not convinced the Dust team sees anything wrong with remotes. Just because you're crying about them doesn't make them OP or some sort of win button. RE's are a leveller and very helpful when some idiot tryhard corp is stomping all the newbs on your side. In fact I would wager that more than a few callow blues have ended up sticking with the game after seeing the platoon of heavies who've just shot them to bits for 5 minutes get blown to pieces by a skilled RE operator. Saying RE's are OP is like saying HMG's are OP - both weapons working as intended. Both come with risks...
Sorry I believe you misread, I have not said they are OP or a win button. Nor do you see me crying. If you think RE's are working as intended you are sorely mistaken. As stated they are not meant to be frizbees, nor abused in the manner they currently are by more than a few players. Yes the tiny delay is a risk, but it is a small one.

I did screw a dude over earlier today maybe it was you lol:
I saw him he was strafing like hell and I didnt have a flaylock So I dropped 3 remotes in form of a triangle around him and fled and denoted it. Funniest kill ever, just because of that I am ordering a video card to record such Lol moments
Try using a remote explosive myself, even heavies can jump over the blast. Its too situational
I have to disagree my old scout/combat rifle melted assaults and heavies alike (situation depending of course as always). No that was not me.
I have used remotes, but I only put them on point for defence. In all honesty I wouldn't mind them being restocked if they could not be thrown like frizbees, most of the time you can't even see where its landed.

In all honesty I wouldn't mind them being restocked if they could not be thrown like frizbees, most of the time you can't even see where its landed. I beg to differ in a gun fight a scout that isnt using modded controllers or some weird strafing exploit cannot take out a 1000 eHP medium suit. Remotes are very easy to see like has been suggested 1 Fluxes objectives 2 Use scanners it cost just 18k SP for a scanner And you should really read your post. You are trying to get other players to use remotes the exact way that you use them. Thats limiting others and removing variety from the game. You can't do that. In a game that you can die in under a second from weapons, you want remotes to take 3 seconds to setup? You should be realistic my friend. When you have 2 heavies and a logi repping team defending an objective. Only a fool would attack them with a rifle. The remote is a counter that is working well. And the delay is pretty annoying if you ask me but its a tradeoff that I accept.
Being a scout means you should use a higher awareness with your scanning skills maxed. I do not use any kind of exploit in this game and I have no problem taking out other suits with a scout.
Also no that is not my intention, I am stating how I use them not how others should use them. Again one scout trying to take on 2 heavys and a logi should be difficult to solo (especially in a scout suit), after all you are dealing with 3 players. Also there are some objectives which better suit the heavys and others not so.
And remotes CAN be easy to be see depending on placement.

As stated they are not meant to be frizbees, nor abused in the manner they currently are by more than a few players. Yes the tiny delay is a risk, but it is a small one. What do you mean by "abused"? What you mean is that they are killing you every so often... They also kill me every so often. I feel rage when it happens. I don't call for them to be nerfed, banned, made unusable... just like I don't care that the HMG mows down everyone in it's path. It makes perfect sense to me that each weapon is deadly in certain situations. You only get 2 or 3 remotes per suit so what's the big deal? If people are hanging around hives and spamming remotes and you've seen it - then you need to find a way to take them down.
I do not mind getting killed by anything. The main problem is that they can be thrown so far. My suggestion (as always open to debate and opinions) was to stop those who spam them constantly.
Making them not thow-able or restocked neither makes them unusable, but more situational (as with any suit/weapon/vehcile).
Also, I normally try to, but as I solo mostly, sometimes that is just hard to do.

In 1 of 2 ways Either they cannot be thrown like frizbees or; They cannot be restocked without changing suits at a supply depot The frisbee thing is more like an exploit as the jumping and shooting with a shotgun. I believe you need to jump to throw far. I dont throw remotes like frisbees because I use a controller and not a mouse so I can be so accurate. I think its just an option. If we can run at the speed of a horse we should be able to throw remotes far The remote explosive is a weapon, it is just put in an equipment slot, its like saying that we should not be able to restock grenades from hives either. I think classifying remotes as the explosives that they are by putting them in the grenade slot solves the problem I think Flux grenades and remote explosives swapping places solves the issue
But people don't need to run super fast, just jump in any direction. If there was a need to run at full seed then that would cause inaccuracy thus making it viable and my arguments void.

When you say "spam them constantly" I assume you mean that you've seen these mercs hanging around by hives to replenish and staying put. How hard is it to take these guys out?? Surely just shooting them is the answer no? You can't throw RE's far enough to outrange any kind of rifle or even most sidearms. The notion that you can throw them "like frisbees" is frivolous. You can't. They drop to the ground almost immediately. Frisbees glide through the air for ages and ages then slowly descend to a stop. Completely different - and actually not a bad idea for a new weapon (or piece of equipment that replenishes like a weapon)
That or they carry hives and do the same thing elsewhere, but yes sometimes if they are too high up or hiding while throwing them, they can be a pain to deal with. Thing is, is once one person sees them at it others join in, the ones you kill go back and carry on. To be honest Ain't nobody got time fo dat.
You can throw them quite far, not to the range of rifles admittedly, but far enough. I once watched one float the whole lengh of the city once (yes I was amused so I followed it). It was never detonated and assumed it was a one off, not seen it happen in such extremeties since.
Oh I'm easily amused btw xD

I dont understand you but my point is this , with 3 complex kin cats on a min scout, the attainable sprint speed in real world numbers is godly
To get it to be thrown further, you should have to attain a certain speed (its how I work it out when throwing nades), Once at optimal speed, if I make a turn over a certain degree angle my speed would be reduced, thus meaning the remote cannot be thrown as far.

I don't mind them, I like the concept, but like everything else in the game players exploit and abuse everything they can :(
I'm hopeless with knives lol, gave up long ago
Don't worry about it. Back in Chrome I did some strafing lessons. We would sit in the redline and help them. Basically run a circle (left stick), the larger the circle you make the larger the strafe. Try to keep the circle in a forwards motion as you move faster than moving sideways.Try figure of 8s and keep yourself unpredictable in your movements
