Just wow.
Thats roughly 133 thousand "components" meaning for someone to catch up to you they would have to log in and claim their pieces every day for over a year.
Props to whoever at CCP came up with this system.

I guess after they screwed up and raised the weekly bonus SP cap so high they needed a new way to farm people.
I would certainly say they found it. |

Oddly enough after my last purchase I ended up with 3 AUR left in my wallet and I refuse to spend that on my warbarge as well.
All you guys buying into this crap box should be thanked. Thank you for sending a message to CCP that they do not even need to bother making a good animation for you to fling hundreds of dollars at them. |

If that is true then I am done with this game for good.
Letting CCP do little to nothing and collect this kind of money from people is going to lead to a level of cash grabs that makes this look like a warm up to the warm up to the warm up match. |

Seriously?
I don't like their approach with some of the monetization, but if people are willing to do it?
I'm selling Templar Codes. 2 of 5 remaining. 225 mil ISK. Message me in game.

We have already been dumb enough to let them know its okay if we have a FPS that does not even have proper hit detection or a sustained frame rate. We have also let them believe it is fine to hype everyone up and then announce they are moving to a whole new platform only to double back on those statements and start spamming every cash grab scenario they can think of.
It would be different if they actually made an effort to put out a quality product and then stuck a pay wall in front of it but they do not even do that. No one is even saying anything about the fact that auto inertia dampening still does not have an off switch. This was the one part of this update that was actually meant to help the user experience and it got tossed in the corner while the cash grabs are all set up nicely.
As consumers the only voice we have is our wallet and right now people seem to be loudly yelling for CCP to not waste their time on quality of any sort. It was exactly a giant cash grab like this in Eve that led to riots in Jita and CCP backed down. Meanwhile here in Dust we just beg for more broken cash grabs and feed it as fast as possible. The end result of this game is going to be very ugly if people do not wake up.
I refuse to spend another dollar on this game and if more people would do that and demand that their be some actual progress made before they spend more on this beta test we may actually see some of the vision of what this game was suppose to be come true.

Honestly the warbarge is SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper if you do not spend components to negate the "Cooldown," I mean it is either wait for a cooldown of 21 days 7 hours before you can upgrade the Factory from 4-5, OR spend 105K WB components which will cost you 315K AUR or $157.50, and that's just to negate the cooldown not even to upgrade the bloody thing.
If you try and get the warbarge components organically, you already don't have to wait for cooldowns, and honestly as it stands:
- SP Module is extremely lackluster, it's half a maxed daily log-in bonus, or a very short battle.
- ISK Module is great if you're poor, basically a free low-end battle's worth of ISK.
- Weapon Lab is pure garbage atm until it actually tells you what in the hell it actually gave you (And it consumes WB components too, with a chance to get something nice), more of a "Oh nice shiny!" for people with more cash then brains, a nice perk but nothing game changing especially since you can't even choose what the hell it gives you.
- Factory is useful for generating components.
- Damage Module is pretty useful for the damage bonus, but level 3-4 will serve most people and is relatively short to get to if you ignore the isk,SP and Weapon Lab
If you drop even twenty bucks on an AUR pack and refuse to spend a single part of it to negate cooldowns you're already at a huge early start, and doing it the old-fashioned cheap way is not a terrible idea unless for some insane reason you do want to max all of the modules from the start.
For 400K AUR and wasting an insane amount of it on negating cooldowns (In restrospect a very dumb idea, I should have spaced it out through the week), you get a Level 5 WB, 4 factory, and three everything else.
For the AUR cost, most of it is pure e-peen and is of little consequence.
Just go for the factory and the damage module. You'll still be competitive without spending a dime. Most of the AUR spent on the WB was to negate the cooldowns.

This is not nearly enough to max it, btw. It takes almost this much to upgrade one subsystem one tier at the higher levels.
