I could of swore I read somewhere there will be an option to turn it off in settings. Nowhere do I see such a thing in settings.

Pretty sure it's known. It's hard to notice that it's missing when it was very much awaited. |

Hopefully this is an omission that can be added by hotfix, and we don't have to wait for Warlord1.1 to see the dreaded automatic inertia dampener finally go the way of the dodo. As crazy as it sounds, this is the feature I was most looking forward to. The warbarge, the new visuals effects, and the shiny salvageable goodies are neat, but when that dampener is back to normal I'm popping champagne.

Exactly, sometimes you just don't want it to pop. I love dropping in the middle of reds in a heavy suit and nobody knows what's happening till they get killed

What does it say about the state of things when the content you were most looking forward to was something we already had?
Poopy britches, that's what. Frickin' poopy britches.

We have never had the option to turn off dampener. Well that is if you don't consider an option as not hitting x...and looking like a moron in the MCC.

Personally I think you should be asked a random basic math question which you must quickly answer before you can turn on your dampener every time. To be given during free fall. It would improve the quality of bluedots significantly. |
