The first time I tried the update Sony just disconnected me at 93%. I canceled the 235MB DL, signed back into the PSN and started the download again...except I had to leave for work. I figured it would finish automatically. Nope.
I checked the PS3 over my lunch break, and now it says I don't have a hard drive. I'm going to have to reimage my POS PS3.
It is probably Sony's fault for randomly disconnecting me (no my connection did not actually go down....Netflix, Reddit, and my bitcoin miners ran uninterrupted all morning).

Maybe it is your internet I didn't have any issues downloading and or installing it.

Maybe. But like I said, I keep getting error messages from Sony. I was at 99% on the 2.7 GB full game download (after replacement of the SSD) and I got an error message in the upper right saying I had been disconnected from Sony. I almost spit out my coffee. I had to log back in to continue the download, thankfully it continued from 99% instead of making me start over.
I wouldn't be surprised if I was being throttled by Sony or my lame Time-Warner ISP. I usually have slow logins, like 4 or 5 minutes to get into Dust, but after only 10 or 15 minutes it picks up. I can close Dust down and be back in less than a minute...if it had already been going. I usually play for hours and hours (Dust 514 only).
My internet connection is always doing something, streaming, bitcoin mining, etc. I know when my internet goes down.
