Get the APEX now.
Use it to gain ISK and LP in case any new ones pop up.
Then you'll have two!
Or they don't release new ones, you didn't waste time waiting, and were able to accumulate ISK and LP for higher end gear.

Personally I would avoid the scout if you want an apex suit as you can have a better minja with only 18k ISK per fit. I let you calculate to see how many times you have to die just to compensate the 10M ISK investment (and then there are still 100k LPs spent)
The logi is the best way to make money, the sentinel performs better than nearly all the other apex suits because of the lol HMG, the assault is the only one that can perform better than its 20k std version (personally I don't like the fact they put RE instead of nanohives but well...), and finally the commando is fun, works decently but requires level 5 to be useful |

APEX Dropsuits are a ripoff.
For 100k LP you can buy 645 PRO Suits, 1k PRO Weapons, or 392 PRO Suits and Weapons. With the 10mil ISK you can easily buy enough modules to fit the suit for a long time.

I don't understand this sentiment that choosing to pay for things is somehow getting tricked by the pure satan that is the company!!!! Games should just be handed over for free!
Now granted I'm against the exploitation of 'whales' and I think even low/non paying members of a f2p game are valuable (games like this should be trying to have as many players as possible), but there is zero reason to disparage those who choose to access 'content' in their own manner.

I have 2. The Warlord and the Chiron which I purchased the old fashioned way with ISK and LP.
I got them because I had the ISK and the LP that I will never be able to spend.
They are collectable and look good on the warbarge. Everyone should earn at least one.

Some of us older players are not as rich as you would think. Nor am I an amazing player. I die ALOT. The apex suits are letting me really stock up on Isk so when the **** gets serious I can run full tilt all match if I have to. Plus as has been mentioned they are a collectable to me. Also if they will be tradable imagine that they will be a hefty bargaining chip in any deal.

All of which are far more efficient than a PRO suit filled with nothing but STD gear.
I did the math a while back ago and for the price of an APEX you can buy a total of 645 LP prototype and 89 prototype suits = total of 734 prototype customisable suits. That is including the LP and ISK spent for the LP suits.

I also like it for NK practice, any Minja that cannot kill with basic knives, is no Minja at all
Sentinels are a problem, but nothing a quick flux, knife and bullet in the head won't solve

Normally i would agree with you Dreis. But, i have a life outside of waiting for 8 minutes to get into a FW, plus with my illnesses
i could be fine one minute and not able to move from my bed to the bathroom. So, it would take me FOREVER to earn my Tiger
scout, so if i want to purchase something i should be able to purchase it.
I think the earning factor is an ego type achievement type thing, ive worked so hard for it now i get to show it off and be a douchydouche
on the ones who took the easy route. No, i just have a life, not as much free time, OTHER games etc.
