Why we do not have racial tech. Why Minmatars and Amarrs need to make drops from Caldarian and Gallenteans ships? Why we do not have full racial weapons, vehicles and rest of technology? Why we still do not have pilot suits, making vehicles more viable than "neverending inbalance"?
CCP you did aprove this game a lot. Why there is still that feel you do not want finish the core of it?
Im not against the Quafe and other visuals, but honestly isnt better to first achieve the finished core and implement these thingies later?
Why we still do not have Minmatar buggies, and Amarrian HAVs instead Quafe texture on caldari DS for example? Like guys c-¦mon full racial parity in technology and veapons should be prim.

They REALLY need to fix what's broken before adding more to the pile. There are a ton of things I'd personally want to see but polish is needed

Or you could use Amarrian and Matari.....
But yeah..... don't hold your breath.

Because the PS3 has 256 MB of video RAM and 256 MB of system RAM meaning that any new art assets that would be added would make the already terrible performance of this game even worse.
I'm all for adding new bells and whistles if the game runs smoothly, but adding new assets without prior optimization to a game that already runs poorly is a recipe for disaster.

I agree here, but i do not get why implementation of whole technology/weapons/vehicles is on "second rail". Logicaly if you need fix and balance stuff you need have finished core.
Just imagine what issues will be here later without this. They will fix technical issues, later try to balance stuff and after implementation of another weapons and vehicles, they will have another inbalance and technical issues to fix.
I just do not get why some things are more important that finalized core, what can be finaly done.

Nope thats not issue, take a look on Battlefield with fully destructable engine and MAG with domination mode. Memory is not answer to my question here, honestly.

The RAM is just a BS excuse. Seriously.
MAG Raven vet 7 times. Favorite weapon F90 and Highest Kills 78 and 23 deaths.

Faux Racial vehicles are on the vehicle roadmap. Vehicles that use Gallente and Caldari models (though with a different paint job) but are fit and designed with Amarr and Minmatar philosophies in mind.
Pilot suits may happen down the road but there are serious issues with existing vehicles as is, and it is more important to make them get close to working properly before we worry about pilot suits.

You've never built a computer before have you?
RAM is a HUGE deal on any kind of system. It is often one of the most limiting factors in a computer's performance. Too little RAM leads to extremely limited capabilities.

Dust does not have an art team. I understand that lore is important to people, but I would rather have a functioning vehicle with the wrong model, than nothing at all. Models can be added later if the function is already working.

IF you for ONE SECOND... Think Pilot suits offer any chance of balance in this game...... i don't know what to think.
Take a step back and look at the big picture...
Pilot suits will have to split bonuses fromt ank and the suit and applying them.... Making using a vehicle almost always inferrior unless using a pilot suit...
This screws over every player in the game except someone who just wants to use vehicles exclusively.. New players? They get screwed over even more...
Balancing vehicles and the bonuses that happen between suits and vehicle.. Along tiers.... Would take crazy amounts of time...
More time then trying to implement two new races of vehicles...
Pilot suits are a neat concept when you don't take in account how DUST works... and plays. Sounds great on paper? But applied to the application? Creates more problems then it would ever solve. |

Issue is with one think, how you know you will have problem with different model, if there was not implement. There will be implemented set of Quafe ones with diferent skins and that is no problem for you. But from different model you are scared already.
Without any progress this game will stuck on same level and that is not in what i put money. New skins do not make game finished. Game will be finished if there will be everything in same numbers and by numbers.
And honestly we had models for vehicles and weapons for some years now, but inovation is somehow just in boosters and skins.
I understand they need money, but you know what should be awesome? Finished core of the game, where every race have all technology already implemented and balanced. Skins what we have and will have will not change the fact of incompleteness.
How it seems im the only one here who actually care about full racial parity, how sad.

How long are you around? If you are here since time like me, or few later you already know this issue is here for really long time. And if you take it on bussiness scheme, what actually looking more potent (like for gamer/investor):
1.)Unfinished game, with skins and not finished core. 2.)Finished game, with balance core and with skins.
Honestly i will go for no.2
Dust is awesome, full of great ideas and lore. But with this kind of progress which is like "waves on the beach" (where is third one that biggest) will dust like a game never make finished state.
And that really bothers me, i spent money i did it for some progression here and what we have, just another way how we can spent money.
If i will have that chance i will ask CCP:
"Do you really want to finish this game, or you want to make just more and more hats to cover the holes?"
It is quite shame after all that time we still do not have all core in game, but we will have more of "wrapping papper" for buy and cover.

I know i trying my best with english, what is not my first language ;)
Honestly i will expect more that just making another kind of booster for income what players put in game. I understand they trying to make some money. But it is quite silly to spent whole bunch on another system of boosting and another skins. When we all know the CORE was all that years untouched and unfinished.
From eyes of view it is not run for finish the game, quite honestly what basicaly makes me reall sad. I like this game, but this is just nonsence even from business view.

I mean let me put it this way, did anyone expect us to get as much additional stuff as we have right after fanfest? I figured what we had was what were were going to get forever. And while Patch 1.9, 1.10, and Warlord 1.0 are not everything we've wanted, it shows progress and has really given me hope for whats to come.
So while you may not get everything you want, things are looking up, so have faith and try to understand that they're working under some crappy limitations.

Hmmm I guess. Ironically I don't think I'll ever drive it even if it is introduced. Honestly I'd love to Rattati prove me wrong but I don't think CCP could design an MBT that works for the Amarr.
