And yet you offer no evidence to support that. Amarr are all about efficiency, not "hurr lasorz!", they use laser weaponry because they don't have to depend on solid state ammunition, if nothing else they can just recharge the capacitors for their weapons off of suit powerplants.
Damaged melee weapons could be fixed by the same nanite swarm technology they use to repair armor, so there's no need to go down the "hurr lazirsward" route so many idiots think is 'Amarr'.

You did not offer any evidence, either.
One should not have to argue things that should be common sense or common knowledge. If a society can achieve an interstellar empire, it's highly unlikely they're going to be complete idiots about something (without exceptionally good reasons). I have already provided the reason for why they use laser based infantry weaponry, it's very similar to their reasons for laser based starship weapons.
