I can guarantee Sinboto is using a Saga II, and I have a hunch he's using it with a shield booster and probably an armor plate or repair.

You gotta catch them in the right place, though, to be able to pull it off before they zoom away. |

On a related note, LAVs should be easier to kill, IMO, as they enable too many scrubby playstyles (murder taxi & engagement easy exits) -- I think there should be some kind of animation/delay when entering/exiting LAVs to weaken these exploits.
Actually, with the Saga II hardener up, it can survive 2 packed proto AV grenades even without other mods. And if I use a booster after that, swarms can't stop the shield regen.
Regular LAVs are easy to kill, and honestly I think need buffed. I'd like to see the slots stripped from BPO LAVs while giving the STD LAVs +1 primary slot and extra PG/CPU.
I also agree for a time of sorts to get in and out, though.

You can fit an enhanced heavy shield extender on the saga II giving it 2207 shields, and a 60% reduction on damage. This puts the effective shields at 5517.5. |

A friend of mine (who left for Destiny, sadly) ran a practically indestructible Saga II fit that I once saw take on three tanks at once and not only survive, but kill two and run the third off after keeping them completely occupied and essentially nullified for the bulk of the match. 100% solo. Kittening scary if you fit it right and play to its strengths. The only thing that ever got it popped was blues stealing it while he was on the gun and proceeding to do blueberry things.

I call BS...
The small turret couldn't have done that much damage that quickly... But I'll try to believe it.

Who said anything about "that quickly"? "...nullified for the bulk of the match." He corralled them like a sheep dog, hit-and-running around them in circles over the course of the match, weakening them then taking off when they'd try to focus fire, eventually managed to isolate one and took it out, then the next, the third finally took off and recalled. Maxed small rails can put some damage out, man.

I disagree with making the bpo have no slots, that's like stripping the slots off of dropsuit bpos, you're effectively kicking anyone who either payed or worked for them in the balls.
It's a standard lav not militia, and one I payed for to boot, why shouldn't I be able to fit mods on it?
