I actually had the thought that a 514th Air Squadron could be formed. I'm planning on going Liberator/Galaxy.
Have been flying them around on PC for a little while with a DS4 plugged in to practise.

I have been playing the game on pc for just shyear and most of youres are because you're newbs. There is 'The Zerg' and then there's the cool sht that outfits do. I roll with a very prestigious outfit (TR) and we run around 40-50 people going on rampages and doing all kinds of highly organised and tactical operations.
Because it's new to most of you, expect fk all to be honest, nothing short of a headless chicken clusterfk of epic proportions until people actually know what they are doing and how to employ tactics on a large scale. I have personally commanded about 80 people and had them all assigned to doing different things across the map and one time on two different continents.
I've also seen what happens when too many people are trying to kill and not playing their roles, you get completely arsebanged from one base to the next. That's why you should join an outfit anyway so you never have to deal with 'The Zerg' but it is good for farming certs.
I'll be playing the ps4 version as well.
Is your outfit going to be on PS4?
I downloaded the PC version today, hooked up my DS4 and messed around for a few hours.
Thinking I may specialise in piloting.
Lib/Valk/Gal... And so I should really run with organised folks.
Not sure about ESF. It was fun but it's such a knife edge of control and I couldn't get my gamepad sensitivity right.

Have been flying them around on PC for a little while to practise. I have noticed that the new in thing to get wrong online is to put practice as practise. When you get good you can practise what you know but until then you're just practising your bad skills. You need practice. If that was an honest mistake then i apologise.
On phone, didn't check closely what it was auto correcting to.
It's not the first time I've made that error because of it.

Yeah I watched it a while ago. Awesome stuff.

So... Who's recruiting?
AU player, happy enough to join a US server or whatever. (I play Dust on American server). Have been messing around on the PC version to get some practice in before the game launches. And have been listening to old episodes of "under the radar".
Planning on going Lib/Gal/ESF pilot. Still can't get the hang of the reverse maneuver yet though. So will likely cert them in that order.
As such will be mostly interested in running with organised squads, though I'be heard a 2 person lib can do some cool solo flights.
Don't really care what faction. Just want to fly with folks who are gonna be around to squad up, so a large (100+) clan is preferable.
