It feels like bumb rushing your enemy in hunan wave attacks is the superior strategy across all three game modes in Dust.
Flank? Nope
Infiltrate? Nope
Play defensively? Nope
Bum rush? Always.
Put your flags up in the sky.

Why would you want to bum rush and lose clones and suits when you can snipe from the safety of the redline and always go positive whilst making a profit? |

Strategy died when the TTK died. I remember back in open beta it just felt much more tactical and slow. Now its just a twitch shooter dependent on who can shoot or run the fastest. The only strategy is to just bum rush the enemy position with proto gear. The only thing that really matters is if you can communicate thoroughly and effectively.

DUST is ran by a Mob mentality...
If you have a squad of 4+ and you all are moving into a general area... It is a big enough group to attract the local nooberries attention... And they will end up following your group like you are the Pide piper leading a legion of rats with your flute.
The first group to get to an area and setup the rest of the team.. spawning in a "Mob" usually is the victor..
Unless you the opposing team can gather up the "Mob" enough in close proximity to push an area...
The Mob doesn't think about setting up support... Just spawning in as fast as possible and rushing into the same scenario over and over..
The Definition of insanity what again? doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results?
It should be DUST's motto. |

I'm kind of finding that statement less so true as I move through more and more games. Honestly I think in many respects games with lower TTK require more of me as a player. I don't have the luxury of exposure or arguably the fast regeneration of shields (or even HP regen at all).
