If canceling the cancel takes a while, and while the canceling has started and has not been completed, a cancel of that cancel commences, that cancel can be cancelled. Just like rejecting rejections,

I think we need to break this up into a cancel 1 and a cancel 2

there is an event, an event you instigated, for reasons we will call this event "X"

X is happening and you no longer want X to happen.

So you decide to Cancel X from happening.

We will call this Cancel 1.

Right after Cancelling X by Cancel 1 a terrible regret fills your soul and you decide to cancel Cancel 1 by means of another Cancel.

We will name this Cancel 2.

Cancel 2 prevents Cancel 1 from happening, leaving X intact and leaving you with Cancel 2 which has nothing to do with X and therefore has lost it's purpose.

You can then opt to also cancel this Cancel 2 as it serves no more purpose making the total of cancelled cancels 2

So the answer to can you cancel a cancel is yes, and in fact you can cancel more cancels than a cancun can can dancer can.
