Pretty obvious by now that Legion is dead unfortunately and the idea of an fps in New Eden won't be on the platform it should've been on in the first place anytime soon or ever.
Should Legion be on the ps4?

I see, that would still suck, because I'm pretty sure they'll never be able to deliver on the original concept, even on the PS4 right now. This game is just way too ambitious. And like you said, in the future, the PS4 again will start holding them back. Its unfortunate that New Eden is in CCP's hands RIGHT NOW. But lets not forget that they're the ones that created it!!  LOL. Random question, are you a believer in Star Citizen right now? Have you even heard about it? Or at-least are interested in it? Because as of right, its the only game out there thats giving me hope!!

Yes I've heard plenty about Star Citizen and have seen plenty of it as well. So far have seen the combat in space ships and the first person shooter mode in stations. It looks cool, will have to at least get a better psu and graphics card for that eventually if I want to play Star Citizen. Won't be upgrading completely yet though till the game is officially released and got the official specs and plenty of views on the game.

So far, its the closest I've found to offer an experience similar to what EVE online and a FPS mechanic would be like. Will see how it goes, its a lot different still from something like Dust 514 in-terms of combat, and setting, etc. And yea, I might need an upgrade as well for a better experience. But won't be doing that anytime soon. Will wait till around release to see how everything is like, and if I'm genuinely interested in the game. Currently running an i5 3570K, 8GB RAM, and a GTX 670FTW. Will see how that does in Star Citizen. Problem is, SC is gonna be the kinda game thats dependent on BOTH your CPU and GPU, so thats a major upgrade right there :(
Ya it seems like that game is gonna make everyone upgrade their rig just to play stably, do you think the FX 8320 is good enough for Star Citizen?

I'm waiting for the third starter ship before I pledge for it, but there's no way I would drop either EVE or Elite: Dangerous to devote all my time to it. Let's also keep in mind that everything that was proposed for Dust is fully possible on the Playstation 4. In NO way would any of that need to be held back due to hardware constraints. I mean, remember that M.A.G. supported 256 players through some smart level design and slick server code on the PS3, and the PS3 is quite inferior to the PS4 in terms of processing power. Given that the original stated player count for Dust 514 was 48 players, I can't see any way that that would be unnatainable on current generation consoles.
I'm sure they can do a lot more in fact way more than they ever did with the ps3 but I still doubt they will be able to achieve their whole vision with the ps4. Because at some point they will get stuck cuz of the hardware no matter how good their programers now have with working on consoles. Will admit though that even though Dust514 has mostly been disappointing that minimal link with EVE is very good work.

Planetside 2 is alright but won't be keeping me occupied, plenty of other games to play till we get Legion (if it hasn't been cancelled) or Dust514 on the PC+PS4 (that's if they cancelled Legion though).

Ya the communication is at least a bit better than how it was before fanfest, I'd be fine if they gave a clear answer on what they are doing with Legion and Dust514 and their reasons behind their choice whether they're going ahead with Legion or Dust514. I'm just not going to bother with any more consoles, cross-platform is fine though but that's the limit for me.

And I am not joking I have not booted up dust 514 since I seen legion footage thats the game I want to play and the more intensive eve link. So I am talking about no legion for the ps4 and not for pc so basicly both games dead thats not what I want to see in the end also a big FPS fan.
Well they did say that some of the guys from their Shanghai team would be at fanfest for the round tables. Don't know what they'll be able to say but maybe we'll finally get some clear answers on what they are planning for Legion and Dust since they seem to still be updating it. But we must not waste time hoping for any good news at fanfest like we did last year, for hope is the first step on the road to disappointment especially with CCP.
