Should I get shield extenders to lvl5 or NK to lvl4?
I'm at lvl3 in shield extenders and prof 2 in Nk

Shields.
Shields at level 5 will improve virtually every suit in the game.
The NK only marginally improves an alpha weapon -- that is to say the impact, IMO, is negligible in comparison. |

He's not wrong.
Still if you have prof 2 knives I'd say get the shield, if only for the base increase, you should be fine against most targets with your racial skill.
