I don't mean to be that guy who only has a complaint..... but could they make faction versions if it's just and 2D image anyway. That barge looks really.... Caldari. Could CCP just change the flags in the warbarge loading screen and call the warbarges Mordu? I could deal with that, it couldn't be too hard to just change the flags.
Love the fact that things are being added, no matter how small.

True, but just as every suit, vehicle, and weapon has a lore based origin, the warbarges do to and the interior flags should reflect that. I vote for making them Mordus and changing the flags within the barges. What better origin for a bunch of mercs than THE mercs?

The warbarge origin issue can be solved later, it doesn't have to have a name, and I can accept the aesthetic for current warbarge interior is possibly not Caldari, or of Caldari origin repurposed. HOWEVER, what I can not accept is that flag is always Caldari. It just screams poor development. Why can't the flag be the corp flag or a blank banner? It's a constant reminder how many assets are recycled with little or no attention to the little details.

To be fair it is not a "recycled art asset" it is the original art asset, back in the day we only had the Caldari MCC and the Warbarge was decorated accordingly with the given assumption that both were manufactured by the Caldari given the off-hand comments on the old boards and the irc. They just never "updated it" as there are certainly other higher priority issues.
Just because a country is the origin of a military asset doesn't mean that countries flag would be displayed. I doubt China's new aircraft carrier will be waving the Ukrainian flag.

So, CCP is actually paying attention to the precedence and the "small details" of which you are woefully ignorant of 
It's a flag, not a decal, and detail isn't necessarily accurate because it's prominent and the precedent is BS.
