**** this glitch and **** the redline for existing. This thing happens so often, every time in the redline, it's never a question of "if" you're going to explode early, it's a question of "when" and I seriously just wish CCP would find this thing and stomp on whatever faulty code causes it till it's a pile of clone batter.

Honestly I don't see why so many people complain about the redline glitch.
Yeah it sucks, but you kinda deserve it since you aren't supposed to be there in the first place. It's like going into an electrical plant and wondering why you were shocked by an exposed power cable.

This is not ducking in and out of the redline, i had to dive bomb into it to survive the swarms and I would appreciate it if the onscreen timer would actually work!

It would be, except that implies that you were invited into the electrical plant when in reality you aren't supposed to work there and was told to stay out of the electrical plant or suffer the consequences.
Given how the same terms apply to players and the redline, my analogies are accurate.

if you weren't meant to venture into the red line there would be instant death or an invisible wall
the design is to not stay in the red line, set long enough to finish off those retreating back there but short enough to prevent spawn camping

But atiim how else am I suppose to take out those red line rail tanks harassing me from half the map away? Players like krull okaba already go so far back if I even get near their side of the map its almost impossible to deal with.
