Heavies don't need to be mobile. There are here to stay and forbid a point, not to run in the map.
You wanna be mobile ? Take an assault. (or take the minmatar heavy, with 1 kitkat, you can run at 7.40m/s)

If you ask me, I'd say make them slower.
And nerf hmg range by 25%.

Kincats don't help movement speed.
You see if the heavy was a slower assault, but had less ehp than the current heavy I think it would hit a pretty sweet spot.
It would put it in a pretty sweet spot.

no heavys are tanks, there are a lot of suits nearly hitting 1k hp, so the difference is not that huge, plus if ccp made us faster people would complain about that.
and people will keep on complaining about stuff till everything in the game is one hit kill

Pssh I had mine done 2 weeks ago and didn't even need the pain meds they have me after. I felt let down atter the horror stories I heard. Sad because I wanted to take them and make bad decisions.

I think that, overall, there are only 2 ways out:
flatten every role a bit, meaning that assaults will have +0% HP - 0% speed, heavies will have +20% total HP -20% speed, scouts -20% total HP + 20% speed. (but this will actually be pretty revolutionary and maybe a bit too boring)
Or
In order to gun heavies down we need a counter to heavies.
