We gamers get it though. We understand the future is technology, if we are ever to get off this over-populated rock we live on. Some people just can't do what we can, living in our gaming rooms all day, concentrating on one thing and excelling at it. They have to have fresh air and multiple activities to keep them entertained. I mean, that is the future of the human race. lol. Eventually we will be crammed into a spaceship and be traveling the cosmos, looking for planets and what not, with nothing to do but concentrate on our survival. So the next time someone gives you a hard time about playing your Dust, just look at them and smile and say...your going to be one of those people that won't make it. lol. Then just go back to what you were doing.

Maybe but our resources will be consumed before we hit 10 billion. And it won't take us 50 years to hit 10 billion. It's funny watching people squirm and lie to themselves.

Video games have such little practical application in reality - simulating equipment operation which may potentially impact job performance, or strategic/logistic planning on a small scale.
If you want to help the human race progress, then learn how to automate, how to design/build/repair robotics, how to create new materials, architect structures, manage large populations and plan logistics.
The next time someone blows you off because you spend most of your days plugged into a video game console, know that you are offering absolutely no value to your fellow humans whatsoever. You aren't helping anyone make it; not even yourself, deadbeat. |

In any case if you had any kind of intellectual process going on up there in that tiny wee brain of yours, then you'd realize the inevitable...the human species is a virus, it destroys it's own planet and picks a few to rule over many. haha. Maggots is all we are. To think anything more about us is ignorant. You are going to be one those last few, trying to hold onto all of this life and what you've experienced then unfortunately die just like the rest of us. That is the reality of life and the human species as a whole. Accept it and stop trying so hard. lol.

I'd say closer to 35 billion. As far as resources go, we always have nice, clean nuclear power. None of that disgustingly dirty solar power >:[
Using that power, we can extend our farms in three dimensions, vertically, using power to light and irrigate them. Perhaps even expanding into orbital farming, where there is no size limit on the farm.
Only a very tiny portion of the planet is inhabited by humans at the moment.

Get that idea out of your head that we will destroy our own planet. Our planet will be here loooong after we are gone. We only temporarily change it.
