I didn't like Bandwidth before they implemented it and don't like it now. Protosquads can still spam equipment but new players are screwed and there is even less you can do to change that than before.

If you really think there is a connection between bandwidth and unbalanced battles, I think you should provide some form of evidence to back up your claims, and post it in a constructive manner rather than a general QQ post.
Look, I don't doubt your observations, just your conclusions...

i was in the same boat ...keeping 6 uplinks in strategic places with the mini scout and running about hacking.
i now am almost exclusively an assault carrying uplinks because no one else does, and using a scram as its ammo friendly. |

It still is in some aspects, but it's gotten much better than it used to be. |

A former scout that was forced to turn into an assault. This is what I-¦m talking about. CCP killed the uplink Scout and that-¦s unacceptable.
I guess some of you fellow uplinkers switched into something else but I for one am not playing that much. I can-¦t deal with this nonsense anymore.

That's funny, because Ifeel the exact opposite.
As a logi, it's nice to finally be appreciated.
What you are mostly seeing is that bandwidth removed the ability of every suit to spam equipment. Most logi players had quit the role long before bandwidth was introduced, most didn't come back.
only us idiots that stuck with it are still around to drop links, hives, and to rep you. |

I imagine that that would make things even worse.

Yeah.. that would take silly to a new level. Lets hope we-¦ll see some reverse action on the uplinks from CCP. Only way to go.
