Pudding full of proof.
Guy tried to weasel out of it, by saying he never claimed he was working on his "own" artwork.
As an artist something like this makes me furious.
Hell, I tell people exactly what inspired a piece of artwork, and have readily available any references I used in creating it.
The guy has continued denying it, but his intent was very clear.
So what do you guys do when you catch a thief?

In retrospect I should have asked him how long it took him to work on it and about how he achieved specific details.
So what happened was that this guy posts this art.
He says verbatim
"Just a DUST 514 fan art piece I've been working on...
~fragmentedhackslash
Pure Evil."
I check out his profile to see any more of his art, because that was a pretty amazing piece.
There is zero art work on his page, no signs of art school, no sign that this guy is an artist.
I get curious.
I decide to google the image he claims to have been working on and it takes me to the original piece of concept art made for the film Oblivion.
Artist work their asses off. They train, practice, learn, and practice some more. It's not easy. No one is born an artist. They work for it.
It reminds me of those guys that wear military outfits, the stolen valor scumbags.
Artists know the sacrifices they made to get where they're at. Watching someone else claim it makes me furious.

A petition to change fagmentedhackandslash's name to Carlos Mencia, MIlli Vanilli, or Vanilla Ice.
Although Vanilla Ice did eventually give Queen and David Bowie credit.
