well technically if a game runs at 30 or 60fps, the faster the refresh rate of the screen the smoother the game will appear to be, so it does help to have a good tv |

Also it looks like you were mentioning 144hz monitors? refresh rate and frames per second are not the same thing |

As I recall, humans can only view up to 50-60 fps
24 or 26 actually, but when I play a game like league of legends or dota 2 at ~300 you can feel a massive difference
