Hi,
I have a sony wireless headset, http://us.playstation.com/ps3/accessories/wireless-stereo-headset-ps3.html.
When I switch on the headset movement is not smooth but it stutters heavily making it impossible to move in the game. Also continuously pressing buttons results in the same stutter like the game perceives this as I am pressing the button very rapidly.
Hope this helps. :)
Thanks |

I have the sony wireless headset and am not noticing any problems with the game responsiveness as a result of using it. |

I had the same problem yesterday. While playing with the headset enabled movement stuttered, hacking was permanently starting over again (because of button stuttering) and running wasn't even possible.
It was easily reproducible... in one single game... turn headset on -> stutter... turn headset off -> smooth as butter... turn headset on -> stutter... not fun to play that way :(
Please have a look at this... i'll try reloading the headset to see if it goes away... but in the end... thats not a solution... because the wife does not have that problem playing Tomb Raider and i myself when playing Oblivion with the headset on. |

Re sync your controller and headset as the frequencies might be interfering with each other also make sure your not to far away from the PlayStation as the battery drains quicker due to having to send a higher powered signal.
I used to get this i fixed it by plugging my controller in to a different ps3 un sync it with mine and back again.
Think of it as you have a remote control car and someone else has the same car you both go to play with it in the same park your signals mix and the cars do the opposites request. |
