Carry a needle and get plus10% resistance to all weapon types or
add more all heath to the suit. Let give this whistle a blow.
I am aware that a troll avalanche is about to come cashing down on this thread.
However I'm going to stick out the chaos and see if any real a discussion on
this top arise.

It's the one tool all logi's should carry but don't because mostly see it as useless.

Tying a defense increase to the needle more or less makes it essential because of the benefit it offers, but ultimately gimps fits that would have no use for a needle. Non-Medic Logistic fits would have to fit the needle to be competitive, even if they have no use for it, simply because they would need the defensive bonus, and thus effectively losing an equipment slot.
To keep answer sweet and short I hope it would encourage more
logi's to carry a needle instead of just a rep tool.
