What a useless weapon, can anyone explain to me why to use it over a rail or a sniper?
Even in it's optimal - you're going to just plain suck. The best you can hope for is to be suppressive - even then, once you get to armor you'll be snail crawling every kill.
RR is forgiving if you miss just hip fire and it'll spread your shots for people with poorer aim - if lazer is going to be pin point then it needs to reward you for it. RR isn't pin point and it does far more. It makes no sense that a weapon that is easier to use rewards you more for it.
Either push the optimal of the laser to 25-120m and leave it as is - or increase the DPS.

The Pub stars peasants in GD always entertain me. I really couldn't care less how many blue berries you killed with lasers. ****, I can kill them with melee in a heavy suit with no mods. That's not the damn point. It's still a weapon meant to ******* kill, so get over the fact that it does get some. But how about answering the question posted in the damn OP?
Why would you pick laser over RR or sniper?

Why would you pick laser over RR or sniper? Can't admit that you suck with a weapon so you call it UP? LOLZROFLMFAO
Feel free to answer the question, or bend over.
Either way I don't care. I'm not even specced into lasers. I just want to know why anyone would use the damn thing over RR or Sniper - do you enjoy being inferior?

Come on laser guys - shoot me. I'll just call and LAV and wreck your life - and if you don't have proto AV nades against my Saga-II - you have absolutely no chance, and it doesn't matter which suit I take.
Sniper and RR has a chance up close - and they have the range, and better DPS.
Seems silly.

Hmm makes sense to me. And you could beat any non-heavy suit by running a heavy in LAV. The instant teleport in/out mechanics are broken. If you are getting beat by a RR against a heavy in CQC, I dont know what to say...
Pretty sure I specifically said it doesn't matter which suit I choose.
