I prefer to kill my enemies before they spot that way I dont need to worry about strafing or bunny hopping
Highs- 3x Complex Shield extenders
Lows- 2x Profile Dampners, 1x Kincats
Sidearm- Ishukone nova knife
Equipment: Standard cloak- (No SP), Remote
Flux grenades
Weapons I use pretty well: Scrambler Rifle, Scrambler Pistol, Combat Rifle(Even though it works more as my sidearm after taking out shields with a flux)

A 'true scout' is one that hides, so obviously a cloak field is a must. With my cores maxed;

We waited in anticipation for the thing for a long bloody time. You need a cloak because passive scans do not work E.G i have been snuck up on by caldari frontline suits 7 metres. the scout whining thread is that way -->

Thanks Bolt pistol is very inconsistent with it's accuracy. In hipfire sometimes you will get hits that should definately have missed and sometimes you will miss repeatedly shots where the target is dead center of reticle (ADS is pretty damn accurate though). Should probably stick with the rifles for your light weapon, but thats just me!
Yeah that happened to me, A Caldari scout that didnt even strafe or bunny hop got me with a shotgun and my bolt did zero damage at point blank range.
I think the bolt is only useful at proto with 5 proficiency so I can one shot suits
