So whats the effective range? I thought it was 50m but I got killed at 63m

My phone camera is set to a 2 second timer and I took 3 pictures, the first an accidental selfie and the screen stayed on haha
When I see posts saying Get good and other crap I just laugh. This game is broken in so many ways, if the HMG can deal damage from 63m then why would anyone use ARs?

Absolute range: How close the target can be to a weapon to deal damage
Effective range: How far away the target can be to a weapon to deal damage
Optimal range: The best range to deal damage to a target at 100% efficiency( Ignoring armor/ shed bonuses)

Your killscreen shows the HMG dealt 56(66?) damage meaning at least a dozen bullets hit you before you died. With the HMG dispersion at that range, the heavy must've been shooting you for quite a while.
I was fleeing while cloaked I believe and thought I had escaped haha
