I agree. I was there as well and that took a lot of planning especially when it directly involved the Eve players.

The problem is how we'll get it back.
Skirmish 1.0 was based on closed-beta game mechanics during the Replication build. If Skirmish 1.0 were to come back, it's probably not going to be the exact same thing. In fact, from the looks of it, Fox Gaden's proposal for Planetary Conquest seems to be a beefed up reincarnation of Skirmish 1.0.
