I usuallly have no problem going up against people like this as long as they are not squadded up or q-synced there was exactly six people form 3 different corps some well known ones at that I wont call out any names but I have a hard time believing that the lag is caused by poor internet or something like that. which leads me to believe that certain players in these corps are using some type of technique or something so that they don't have to even try to win.
that to me makes no sense since there is no point in playing if you aren't risking anything. they might as well go play COD or something maybe this is an enforcement issue if so I would like CCP to stand up and address this issue, but to be honest I would prefer new content then to have CCP waste time on these poor cheaters.
Despite there are methods to modify the internet packets you receive / send back , there's no way you can do such a thing with CCP anti cheat on Tranquillity. On the other side, you can't mod Dust 514 on ps3, unless you have a modded Playstation 3, which can't go online anyway.
Now let's talk about lag. Lag is always a disadvantage for the lagger.
The case you are describing: it looks like you are having framerate problems. That's actually CCP's poor (very poor) optimization of the game for PS3 (Cell architecture) and it simply happens sometimes. High latency situations may even make this problem worse.
You can try to replace your HDD with a SSD: it does solve many framerate problems (but definitely not all of them).

Well, from what I can tell (playing since closed beta) this statement is even more valid here on Dust. the more you lag, the harder it is to kill/move, the easier is to die. You should simply try to put as preferred server a server far from you (let's say Asia): you'll surely notice a huge drop in WP / kills etc.
It probably happens that these corps are not in the same server zone as you, but they get the server.

In this case there can't be anyone causing the lag. You can cause the lag if you're the host of a game, and since there's no host, the only plausible solution is that in ideal conditions it's the battle server lagging. That's it. And please try to remember: framerate lag is different than network lag.

I am sure. You all should blame CCP, not the single players/corporations. I have experienced and reported the same thing as the OP many many times: it simply happens. It used to happen against what the french back in closed beta, but it actually wasn't their fault. And the same happens to others telling me / my former corp mates the same.

It's not so much the player themselves causing the lag, it's the system in place to keep high ping players from being at a disadvantage that is causing the lag.
It doesn't matter what anyone says, I've experienced being on the other side when my connection was throttled for going over my limit so I know the advantage a **** poor connection to the battleserver gives as I had that advantage for half a month and I was an absolute wrecking ball in every match I played in.
With all due respect I may have for a stranger, you should seriously consider checking what lag compensation does (because I think you are referring to lag compensation when you say "I know the advantage a **** poor connection to the battleserver gives as I had that advantage for half a month").
My personal experience: it happens that the higher the ping, the shittier the whole game gets for me. And it's not just me. We in Italy are known to have a really bad connection overall. And happens to all of my corpmates and all of the other italians I know.
