core locus grenade works great on flat ground with no obstructions and it almost feels like the splash could possibly reach 22 feet in diameter if at only a couple hit points. IS that how it works IDK? it seems like it. I just got done in a match with one of the newest maps and scouts were unscathed from my core locus barrage even though it appeared my grenades exploded at their feet. I am suspect that the physics are not working here and I would much rather be able to depend on a bubble with a smaller blast radius than what is the current norm. don't get me wrong here core's work great when you cook them and time it perfectly to explode 2 feet from the enemy's head, but so does a militia grenade. Does it boil down to lag, the lag that is unchanged with the introduction of bandwidth. is my fibre optic internet connection not enough for the mighty dust? do I have to plug straight into the server to actually experience the dust our devs intended? #ramble
grenades, I love um, but what's with the questionable splash damage stats? |

You're doing it wrong.
Step 1: Cook Grenade Step 2: Hold it and never let go Step 3: ??? Step 4: Profit
This method guarantees 100% damage allocation every time. |

Keep in mind that all things with Splash Damage, the actual damage is reduced the further you are away from the projectile (ie a Mass Driver will deal less than 160 HP Splash Damage when 5m away).

The distance on the killmail is how far away the triggerman was, not the RE itself.

I understand that but it's very inconsistent, glitching due to terrain and object proximity. I wrote this post because my grenades were detonating within a distance that normally kills, instead, did little to no damage at all. the hit detection was failing diagonally up terrain and on the new "garage" domination map on the ground floor. |
