Look, there are intelligent people who come on here, propose a problem with a certain weapon, show the math behind their reasoning and then will propose a reasonable solution. You simply come in here like, this killed me, cut all damage in half. No math, no examples of why something is op, just simply I don't like it so nerf it.

Anyways I died in less than 3 seconds from a logi using a bk42, I was fleeing. A basic commando should not beat a proto logi but TTk is so low that a heavy suit has to flee from a medium haha. I am begging CCP to reduce the damage of all weapons except the OHK weapons like nova knives and shotgun. ANd yes I play almost exclusively as a scout. Combat rifles just seem overpowered to mercenaries in Amarr suits just like scrambler rifles seem overpowered to all persons in Caldari suits. If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

It's a bandaid. if you slow down TTK it won't matter if you hack off 200 DPS from the HMG it'll still win by health attrition. faster TTK keeps heavies from dominating. What the HMG has which artificially inflates it's utility is Aim Assist. Not even joking about this. I double checked the dev posts because I could have sworn it was on the excluded list. I was wrong. I tested it, and Aim Assist has an INORDINATE effect upon the HMG ability to kill. Up until I turned AA on, the HMG was pretty much no more effective than an assault rifle overall. Sorry but thats not what I said in anyway, you are simply being prejudiced. TTK is too low, having a Commando down in 3 seconds is pretty ridiculous, I exclusively play scouts because of this, I am expected to die in 3 seconds as a scout. If you don't want to admit that TTK is too low then there is no point in talking to you. I asked for your thoughts, I did not ask for a nerf or whine. Like I said I dont use bullets anymore or really any light weapon for that matter, Its either nova knife or flaylock. But then again I am probably wasting your time as you are obviously set in your ways. If a train is coming right at you, you dont need math to get out of the way.
